Minor Project Render test positive results

I was looking at different ways to render recently as I liked my usual renders but wanted to experiment with different render types and found that the vector render gives the sets that I have made some more character without little effect to render times. I would not dream of trying to concept art vector as I would struggle to produce it at a level wich would get interest people, but by using my models as my testing ground, I think I have found a look that works for this piece and am interested in creating a shader network to get a similar effect.

Minor Project set 1 trench build up

version 1 of trench design
version 2 trench design
version 3 started to get layout and shape but not quite there

version 4 started to try to add a mud like quality to the walls to give the set more of a trench look

version 5 took out textured walls as going to use substance editor to allow the model to look more solid

minor Project asset helmet

this is still a hit and a miss the helmets all though basic are a very strange texture and look which i need to work on i think maybe a good texture and bump may give this asset the look that it needs

dodge test

these are early renders i took pushing and moving bits about to try and get a feel of the scene with varied results some very bad and some getting there

Minor Project Bomb Crater Test

screen grabs showing setup of scene

render with off camera

RENDER 2 in this render I pushed the camera closer and got better results still need to tinker with
lights but will do after I have all sets to create a cohesive lighting throughout my piece

Minor Project bomb crater test 1

bomb crater set test iv been tinkering around for thew minor project and been designing my set by doing multiple test and layouts this is the set that is working nicely at the moment adding a substance editor is my next step into pushing the environment to be believable im struggling to push the shadows as I would like a smoother shadow cover
