I like this idea of basic and angler charcters might be a good way to simplfy my charcter design and make my work more more as it has the quality of the wood carvens that phill showed me and keeps a stylistic flare wich i like if any one has any suggestion or knows any artist to look at to get more inspiration on this style it would be greatly appreciated.

saw this, thought of you and your project - this is very BOLD in terms of art direction and I think perhaps you need to think as boldly, given the content of your imagery etc.
